About Us
Park Avenue lives to share Christ’s love with every generation.
PACC's vision is to make lifetime followers of Jesus Christ who: Grow Spiritually – We want everyone to become more like Jesus. This takes knowing Him and living an active relationship with Him. We do this through our Worship Services, Bible Studies, Small Groups and Sunday Morning Classes. Our expectation is that every believer is growing spiritually in their journey of faith. Give Generously – In Luke 12:48 Jesus reminds us that to those who have been given much, much is expected. Part of being more like Jesus is giving generously of your time, talent, resources and love. As a church we express this in many different ways, from supporting our Day Nursery School, partnering with Operation Christmas Child, giving school supplies to children in our community through the Montebello United event, in addition to many others. We desire to see people who are generous with what they have been given. Serve Faithfully – Jesus told us that the greatest will be those who serve, and He led by example. In following Christ we desire to do the same. This means being involved with and supporting our church family, our various ministries and our community. As a church we have hosted emergency management training, church campus renovations, and supported city sponsored events. And we desire to see our church community involved in serving others. Love Genuinely – Romans 12:9 reminds us Love must be sincere. (NIV). Love is more than a word. Love should be expressed through relationship and action. It is our desire that every person acts on their faith and expresses genuine love to those around them. Share Continually – Simply put, we want people to know Jesus. Whether it’s worshiping at our weekend services, sharing Jesus with a friend or celebrating a special event, we want people to know the Love of Jesus and what He has done for them. We anticipate that all believers are sharing Jesus' love and salvation throughout their lives. While these are five simple statements, we believe these statements encompass what it means to be a follower of Jesus and we hope to see people live them in their lives. |
